London Pet Show 2012 moves to Earls Court
After thousands of animal lovers flocked to this year’s London Pet Show, the 2012 event will be held on May 12 and 13 and moves to the stunning Earl’s Court Two. This larger venue means that the show can accommodate more animals and it will allow more space around the animals and activity rings.
With lots of exciting new features and events (to be announced soon!) visitors will be in for a real treat plus there will be additional companies with more goodies and gadgets for you and your pets!
Earls Court Two is a modern hall with great facilities. It is located not far from Olympia (the home of London Pet Show 2011) in central London and has excellent transport links. Earls Court tube station is on both the District and Piccadilly tube lines with excellent connections to other lines. West Brompton tube station which is right opposite the hall is on the District and London Overground lines with links to both North and South London. It’s easy to get to from the Home Counties too with a simple journey from main lines such as Victoria, Clapham Junction, Paddington, Euston and Kings Cross. Plus, there’s more parking too.
The Kennel Club to show 50 breeds of dogs!
The Kennel Club will bring double the number of breeds from last year to the Discover Dogs area, with expert advice on hand for visitors to show from owners and breeders. They will also again be running the Display Ring, with a full programme of exciting activities building on the highly popular performances last year, including Heelwork to Music, obedience training and flyball, to name but a few.
The London Pet Show 2011 was a fantastic opportunity for the Kennel Club to educate the public ensuring that dogs live healthy, happy lives with responsible owners. The Kennel Club ring was also a huge success contributing to a great event that was much enjoyed by all who attended,” said Vanessa McAlpine, Events and Education Executive, the Kennel Club.
